Thank you so much for your comments, Vicki, especially the one about the simplicity of Hayfield. I am completely open to comments that help me grow as an artist and I still struggle with how much to put in or leave out of a painting. I considered a few crows - they might have added a bit of life to the scene. This reminds me to listen to my inner voice.
